I never expected to find myself in the world of visual art.

After graduating with a degree in philosophy, I ended up as a public school teacher in Japan for just over 4 years, and somehow managed to learn how to speak the language. Thanks to that ability, I was hired to assist at a still life studio in New York City where I got my start.

I love the artistry, the collaboration, and the drive.

My editorials have been published in Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, L’Officiel and Vogue, and I continue to adore teaming up with a wide range of creatives. Some of my commercial commissions include key art and visuals for Laura Mercier, Louboutin, Maybelline, L’Oreal, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Maybelline, Redken, Stila, Valentino, Armani, Murad, Sunday Riley, Luxottica, Covergirl, Well People/e.l.f., and Swarovski.
